For just pennies a day, you can help stop Mercedes abuse. Don’t let another day go by- donate to the “PacerRacer needs a new project” fund today.
Saw this while cruising around this evening. This is what happens to Benzs that get abandoned in rural parts of flyover country. It’s a 280SEL, and with those quad headlamps, it’s got to be ‘70s or earlier. What a shame.
I decided to finally give a name to the “seen in Fort Scott” posts, so look for more in the future.

Yes sir! Didn’t guess we’d have any Fort Scott Oppos, cool!

We don’t that I know of, but there are a bunch of us Wichita Oppos. Also, my grandma lives in Fort Scott so I’m out there fairly often.

Rusty neglected 108 is a parts car, sadly. It’s a 68-72 (some very final run cars are titled as 73).

I need to make it out there for some auto cross days. I was living in Olathe (Kansas City metro) until a month ago, but Ft. Scott is my hometown and I moved back for cheap rent and a job opportunity.

I have that car. Pulled it out of a field for $800.

Really? That’s great, are you restoring it or is it a parts car?

Its a driver. No rust. I don’t plan to restore her, but she’s in good shape to keep on the road.
